With Storefront, renting a retail space for a short term has never been easier. The Pop-Up Store concept has grown beyond a trend into a retail strategy that is used by all brands, big and small. Thanks to Storefront, the secular retail industry has been disrupted for good, with speed and ease being brought to a rigid and traditional market.

One of the hardest challenges to overcome for a business is to successfully expand into other countries. Opening a pop-up store or creating a dedicated event makes excellent publicity, creates a buzz around the brand and builds anticipation for new products. Here are a few inspiring examples, from global fashion power-houses to small Parisian exports.

Global pop-ups you can learn from
Louis Vuitton

To launch the Spring-Summer 2017 Men pre-collection, Louis Vuitton has embraced global pop-up stores with beautiful set up in exceptional locations in London, Hong Kong, New York, Sydney, Milan, Tokyo, Beijing and Berlin. The shops were recreating a safari vibe to match the African-inspired collection created by Artistic Director Kim Jones.

Last but not least.. Market your pop-up

Promotion is key. Figuring out how to build hype is a job in itself, however a few simple tactics can propel your store from a run of the mill pop-up to a flagship destination. Capitalize on the temporary nature of your pop-up, build a sense of urgency through the exclusivity by releasing limited products and being active on social media.

Hosting events is also a great way to connect with a wider audience during the event. Kodak launched a pop-up store with Storefront in London last fall, where they held a bloggers brunch, inviting industry insiders with large audiences and giving them a first look and private presentation of their new smartphone, the Kodak Ektra.
