Outdoor Pop-Up Performance is a feat to plan and execute. This summer, the intrepid choreographer Alison Chase is taking on this challenge not just once, but seven times.
Between July 25 to Aug. 4, “Dancing with Steel en Plein Air” will be performed at seven different locations in coastal Maine. The cast consisted of dozens of summer and local residents, professional artists and an excavator. The performance will last eight days in Brooksville and Winter Harbour.
Tickets are a suggested donation of $15. Bring a chair and a blanket. Visit www.alisonchase.org/dancingwithsteel
